This dynamic event transforms an empty space into a multi-sensory playground of LIVE music, dance, poetry, sound art, visual installations, and interactive elements, all woven together around a single theme.
For this iteration of MIXT, we’re embarking on a collective exploration of loneliness, isolation, and waiting, drawing inspiration from mythic heroines like Penelope and Persephone, the resilience of refugees and immigrants, the realities of chronic and invisible illness.
As soon as you cross the threshold of the gallery, you become a part of the living, breathing exhibit —there will be something that inspires you and something that challenges you and everything in between.
